Just the name makes me giggle…
But this isn’t only amusing, what’s really entertaining is how the Water Wiggler teams up with any bird bath and draws more wild bird into your garden. Plus, due to the fact that your bird bath water is now moving, the mosquistoes can’t reproduce in your ‘used-to-be’ stagnant bird bath water!
And, if you have a heated bird bath, this works great in the winter as well – plus gives those wild birds who are coming to your feeders, to get hydrated nearby. Three options to choose with the Water Wiggler – uncovered or a choice of two cover designs.
ATTRACT BIRDS – NOT MOSQUITOS!
From the promotional material Water Wiggler “…helps prevent the spreading of West Nile virus by eliminating stagnant water in bird baths. Water Wigglers have a unique agitator that creates continuous ripples in bird bath water, preventing mosquitos from laying eggs! Easy to install. Just place in bird bath and go! No wiring and no plumbing.”
So – how’s it work? Well it operates on two D-cell batteries. Even if you leave it running non-stop it lasts for up to two months (in standard testing). Remember that you could use this with a heated bird bath in winter to agitate the water and attract more birds from longer distances.

As discussed earlier the sound of dripping water, at a slow and steady pace, attracts all types of bird, in all kinds of weather.
Don’t believe me? Just come and do chores with me! As soon as our outside faucet thaws and before it gets running hard enough to actually put water in the horse’s bucket, the Chickadees are right there, on the fence line, or flitting from post to post.
It’s actually kind of fun! If you don’t have a dripper yet, but you do have a pedestal bird bath, this dripper could be just right for your garden friends – and, you get more of them coming to the bath this way.
Pedestal Dripper
How it works: This dripper stands alongside your garden bird bath. Together they will attract wild birds far and wide for your enjoyment.
The dripper is just a little over 3 feet tall (38″). However, one of the nicest features about this particular dripper is that if you change your bird bath or loaction you can also adjust this one’s height to 20″.

There’s no doubt about it! Wild birds love the sound and look of dripping or running water!
This is definately one of my favorites because it’s so easy to install in the spring and remove in late fall. Plus it looks so natural in any setting. Turn your existing bird bath into a dripping water feature attraction for all to enjoy.
