
Day 01: Nairobi / Mount Kenya
This morning we will pick you up from City Hotel and immediately drive to Mount Kenya. We will have lunch Birding stop at Wajee Camp at Mukurweini Valley, where endemic Babbler Hinde can be seen. Later, after lunch and after several hours of observation birds, we will proceed to Mountain Lodge at the foot of Mount Kenya, where we will dine and spend the night.
Day 02: Mt Kenya
Today, we have an early morning to watch game and birds at the water hole and later take a walk around the Lodge grounds to seek more cash. After lunch, we drive to Naru Moru River Lodge (carefully watching the birds living along the road) on the plateau grasslands and arrive in time for lunch. After lunch we spend the rest of the afternoon bird watching field Naru Moru River Lodge. Later we will cross the short distance to Mountain Rock Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Narumoru is an excellent place for bird watching in particular the park's lodge and the small forest along the River. Here, we will be looking for species such as Olive, Hartlaub's Turaco, Cinnamon-chested Bee-eater, Silvery-crowned and cheeked Hornbills, Cape Wagtail, Black Saw-wing, Yellow-Whiskered, billed Curlew and Mountain Greenbul, White-starred Robin, and Rüppell's Cap Robin Chats, African Dusky Flycatcher, Cinnamon Bracken Warbler, Hunter's Cisticola, Chestnut-throated Gray and Black-Throated Apalis, Gray-capped Warbler, White-browed Crombec, Montane White-Eye, White-bellied Tit, Tropical Boubou, Gray Cuckoo-Shrike, Montane Oriole, White-headed Wood Hoopoe, Eastern and Northern Double-collared Sunbird (among six species), Brown-Weavers Capped, Thick-billed Seed-Eater and Yellow-crowned Canary.
Day 03: Mt Kenya / Lake Baringo
This morning, after a morning walk birds and small breakfast, we depart for Lake Baringo driving across the plains adjacent to the Solio Ranch celebrates Solio. If lucky, we might be able identify white rhino or Black Rhinos through the barrier that we are experiencing. We then have a brief lunch stop at the Thompson Falls Lodge celebrates and later on the drive and drop into the Rift Valley, arriving in time for a short walk on the grounds of Lake Baringo Club. This will be our base for the next two nights.
Region of Lake Baringo has obtained its specialties as well and you'll be looking for similar species Jackson's Hornbill Hornbill, Bristle-Crowned Starlings, Brown-tailed Rock Chat, Dark Chanting-Goshawk, a variety of weavers and an incredible number of birds water.
Day 04: Lake Baringo
Today, we have a full day at Lake Baringo, a walk early risers morning at the basalt cliffs and Baringo later after breakfast, a tour boat around the lake option. After lunch, we depart for home game of the afternoon Player / birds to the vicinity of the national reserve of Lake Bogoria. Remarkable species Bogoria includes huge flocks of Cape teal, Fulvous Whistling Duck, Black-necked Grebe and other wading birds not mentioning the Petit and Grand flamingos. We shall see later drive to Lake Baringo Club later that evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 05: Lake Baringo / Kakamega Forest
This morning after breakfast, we leave for Kakamega Forest through the spectacular Kerio Valley in search of rare flycatchers. We have a couple of birding stops and, finally, arrive in time for lunch at the retreat center Rondo. The rest of the day will be spent birding on the grounds of the retreat with beautiful Dinner and overnight at Rondo Retreat Center.
Day 06: Kakamega Forest
Full day birding around the forest Kakamega our second night here. In Kakamega and surroundings, you'll be looking for the 36 bird species endemic to this place including the Blue-headed Bee-Eater, Western Black-headed Oriole, acacia-Eye Jameson, Turner's Eremomela, African Crowned Eagles Yellowbill, Great Blue Turaco and Black-bellied and a host of Greenbul among others.
Day 07: Kakamega Forest / Kisumu
This morning after breakfast, we drive to Kisumu via some great spots observation birds hot on the road with lunch en route. Later that evening, we visit the famous Dunga Swamp (one of the fortress of swamplands of the lake Victoria rare species). Dinner and night today, will be at Sunset Hotel Kisumu.
Day 08: Kisumu / Lake Nakuru
This morning After breakfast, we drive to National Park Lake Nakuru (a paradise for bird watching) with a lunch stop en route. We arrive Nakuru late afternoon and immediately begin the evening walk game en route to Lake Nakuru Lodge, where we will have dinner and final here and arrived at Lake Naivasha Country Club in time for lunch. After lunch we spend the rest of the evening watching birds Club grounds and lake shoreline. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club.
Day 10: Lake Naivasha / Nairobi
Full Birding Naivasha in the morning, probably with a visit to the Isle Crescent, which is across the lake from Lake Naivasha Country Club. After lunch, departure for Nairobi via Kinangop grasslands in search of Sharpe's Longclaw and continue on another stop in some beautiful ponds for ducks African and migratory.
Assuming that your flight would be late evening, arriving in Nairobi late evening, then transfer to the airport.
